I picked this title because thinking back on the past month is, for me, like preparing a warm fresh cuppa. (Also that last word I just used, I really enjoy, so get used to that one.) I sit back and wait while the richness and occasional bitter, escaping tea leaf soak in. But I never let it ruin my teatime, so the unsavory bits don't ruin the over all month.
January has been easygoing and restful. I:got an email and its already been three months since starting my new job and love it. Five books have made it into my Already Read category this month and I purchased two new books; Stalking Jack the Ripper and It Girls. At the moment I'm reading Esperanza Rising.
Today is the first day after my YouTube and Instagram fast and I've come to realize that watching YouTube took up so much of my time and since quitting it for a while, I don't feel like the day has been wasted. On top of that I've been squeezing time in to write which kind of feels like I'm starting from square one again, but what can you do?
